The oil pressure on my 85 seems to be high.I was wondering if anyone knew the normal oil pressure on a 350?Mine sets at about 25 at idle and 50 just cruising down the road at about 40. I've heard that you should only have 10 psi (or is it lbs?I always forget) for every 1,000 rpm so thats why I was slightly worried.This motor only has about 9,800 miles on it and doesnt have a high volume pump as far as I know.

Should be no problim. New engine the clearances may be a little tight. What weight oil are using?
